Prerequisite: Successful completion of the Innovation Certificate
This class consists of 18 hours over 4 consecutive weeks, sessions meet 2 hours & 15 minutes, 2 days a week. Sessions meet on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 4:30pm - 6:45pm Pacific Time. This fun, hands-on course puts the design thinking process into action as students develop a rough prototype based on the focus of the course.
Design For Impact offers students an opportunity to practice and implement the character attributes and skills set to be an innovative and impactful contributor in their community by using design thinking to address an important societal issue.
Create A Business helps students through the process of building a business from concept to launch, using design thinking to understand their audience and develop a unique brand identity while developing customer personas and a marketing strategy.
Design Your Future equips students with the tools to intentionally apply design thinking process to career and personal life choices. Students will explore various career paths and educational opportunities to prototype their potential future.
Students must complete Design Thinking Bootcamp as a Prerequisite prior to starting a Design Studio Course.
