ENROLL NOW ➝

Internship Accelerator for High School Students & Recent Grads.

Launching students into the professional world with hands-on internships, industry mentorship, and real-world projects that build creativity, confidence, and career-ready skills.

ENROLL NOW

How it works:

WHO can participate: Only students who have completed the Innovation Certificate or earned the Innovation Diploma may register to participate in the Internship Accelerator.

WHAT is the format: Participants are assigned a d.tech career coach, and begin working with their organization’s project team and an industry mentor.

WHEN is it offered: Interns work Monday - Friday, from 9am - 1pm from June 22 - July 17 2026. There is also a mandatory prep workshop on June 15 from 9 - 11am Pacific Time and a mandatory debrief on July 20 from 9 - 11am.

WHERE does it take place: All meetings are online and work is done remotely.

HOW can I enroll: Enrollment is first come, first served (we have less than 50 spots available) and registration and the program fee can be completed online.

WHY participate: There are very few opportunities for teens to participate in professional internships. This proven method enables students to tackle responsibilities on real projects for organizations with genuine problems to solve while working alongside industry mentors.

“The Innovation Certificate Program is an excellent way to learn about design thinking and how you can be a creative innovator. The internship opened a new world for my daughter. It's a great way to get hands-on, real-world experience and challenge students to explore new things. Don't miss this unique opportunity!"

They're very intuitive and allowed their own curiosity to lead the work, often diving deeper than we would have expected from high school interns. They also come with a solid skillset as junior PMs [project managers] and designers.”
